By accessing or using duelloai.com (the "Service") or the Duello Sync Chrome extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Duello is an AI-powered fantasy sports assistant that provides trade analysis, draft recommendations, waiver wire suggestions, player rankings, matchup analysis, and other fantasy sports tools for NBA, NFL, and MLB leagues. The Service includes a web application and an optional Chrome extension for syncing ESPN Fantasy rosters.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and create a password to register for an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account or allow others to access the Service through your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Duello offers a Free tier with limited daily usage and a Pro tier with unlimited access to all features.
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Polar.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Polar Customer Portal. Access to Pro features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@duelloai.com for refund requests.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's APIs or AI functionality
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or feature restrictions through automated means
• Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the Service's AI-generated content without permission
• Use the Service to harass, spam, or harm other users

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Duello uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate fantasy sports analysis, trade recommendations, and player insights. This content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered professional advice. AI-generated analysis may contain inaccuracies, and we make no guarantees about the accuracy or reliability of any AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for any fantasy sports decisions you make based on the Service's output.

7. Intellectual Property

• The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Duello and protected by intellectual property laws.
• Player statistics and sports data are sourced from ESPN and other public APIs and remain the property of their respective owners.
• AI-generated content produced for your personal use through the Service may be shared via the built-in sharing features (Pro subscribers only).

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Duello shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Locally stored data (in your browser's localStorage) will remain on your device unless you clear it manually.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Trademarks & Third-Party Disclaimers

Duello is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ESPN, Yahoo, the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), or any of their respective teams, players, or affiliates. All trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos referenced herein belong to their respective owners. References to these entities are made solely for purposes of identification and interoperability with users' existing fantasy league accounts. Player statistics displayed in the Service are factual data obtained from publicly accessible sources and are provided for informational purposes only.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
